Fuck yeah Melbourne trip was awesome. So awesome I don't even want to come back. It was sunny throughout the days but the breeze made the weather more tolerable. In fact I like the way it is. It's like Singapore in addition to
Genting that kind of feeling.
I packed my luagguage less than 6 hours prior to the flight because I only came home in the morning. My aunt's family was flying off at Changi Airport in the morning so my uncle drove us out from Malaysia. Most of them didn't slept and played cards throughout the night. Like one of the rare moments I get to see this. I slept awhile though because I know I won't have enough sleep for the next day or two. Took a ride with Lynette and I think she was glad she did because I reminded her about passport. We ate popeye before my virgin plane ride.
Yay I got the window seat so lucky. It was slightly drizzling then and when the plane prepare for take off, I could see the droplets being swept away from the wing & as it being to fly.. that's when I think I like plane rides. I planned on sleeping actually but failed because the chair wasn't exactly comfortable. It was a night of movie & music. I watched
where the wild things are(2009) & part of
time traveller's wife(2009). As I was preparing to go to sleep, I tried all different kind of music genre;
hiphop, jazz, blues, musical, natural,
yadda yadda but I failed. -.- Jay Sean & Pixie Lott album were good though.
As the natural light sets in, I begin to be able to see the ground. The world seems so beautifully crafted up above! I'm feeling interest in geography again.

After settling down in Melbourne with our
luggage, we started the tour straight away. I was specially amazed by the bus driver! He greeted us, make sure all the air conditioning was working properly and talked to us about Melbourne! It was so professional and different from Singapore. However, we don't seem to appreciate that very much as we all got too distracted to listen to him. I tried to listen but failed sometimes =/ I sat alone in the bus most of the time right next to the right window so I could listen to him talk about the history and buildings but he keep talking about the ones on the left.
We got to the Queen Victoria Market first and was given a tour around it. First time seeing kangaroo and crocodile meat. First time seeing so many cheese on display. First time seeing so many bread freshly baked. Was given some samples and I wish Singapore sells more variety of food too. The market also sells lots of XL stuff, like fruits. They even sell wine!
We went to the Royal Botanic Garden for some aboriginal heritage walk. I learnt about another plant that could be eaten
hehe & also we all hugged a tree! The tree was huge and it felt really cold hugging it.
Then we finally checked into the Quality Hotel Batman's Hill on Collins. It sound so damn interesting... but I was disappointed.
haha it was nothing next to what I imagined. Oh the toilet have got no locks
hehe we had dinner & breakfast at the restaurant & i hearts the breakfast mainly because of the scramble egg. A thousand times better than Mac's. During dinnertime, I had a great view looking through the glass window from the top. I also played the 喜怒哀乐 game with them
hehe like fun only but
peishan damn fail, we have to keep retaking the shots!
Wanted to venture outside but was too tired to do so. We all went to by at about 10.30 that night, which was about 7.30 in Singapore. The next day we visited a supermarket and two universities. Um not really interested in elaborating but the next place we went was so beautiful & dreamy.
St Patricks’ Cathedral
From far you could already see this castle-like and be attracted to it. Managed to go inside for a little while and it looks so grand and breathtaking. I want to go Barcelona (meteor garden II)
church!!!
During the 2
nd & 3rd night we became more active. Our apartment was filled with people eating drinking & gambling. Phone calls keep coming in and the doorbell kept ranging. Almost wanted to hire a doorman.

Went to Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm the next morning. We managed to pluck our own strawberries! Like fun only you know.
They basically had rows and rows of strawberries there waiting to be pluck. Boxes are sold at the counter for tourists. My picture confirm look like tourist
HAHAHAHAHAHA LAUGH ALL YOU WANT BECAUSE WHEN I SEE THE PICTURE I FEEL LIKE LAUGHING TOO
Had lunch at Lavender garden & also a little tour around the place. They had got mazes but I hadn't got a chance to play
damnit :( As you can guess, the place is actually filled with lavender. The
souvenir shop sells lots of item made from lavender and I bought the rock candy for it. & I think whoever I offered it to don't like it.
