(Saturday / 01:10)

The journey home tonight was an adventure. I had an awesome steamboat dinner with my colleagues and left most of them early because I still have to work tomorrow. I walked from the shopping mall near to Hard Rock Cafe to Tanglin mall and I am very glad I was able to find my way. However I waited one whole hour before I got a bus because the two buses were full and the driver did not stop at all.

When I finally got onto a bus, my card ran out of money. The driver says the ride would cost me $2 and I happily took out my wallet because I remember I had a two dollar note. In the end I only have got five & tens!!!!!

So now my choices were either put in the five for my journey or alight the bus and take a taxi home. Guess what I chose to do.

I asked around the bus if anyone could change my five for me. I went on one by one first, then I just end up asking the whole group of people in front of me. Some went through their wallet and pockets, some just probably think I was insane. I think this is a result of having this job - I am so used to talking to strangers I don't even feel shy about it. Just a little funny.

Then this lady took out two dollars worth of coins from her pocket and signaled me to just take it. She was not smiling, just giving her cool look haha But she was the only kind one who helped without expecting anything in return. :) The world have hope after all. Anyway I looked through my wallet again because I cannot believe I do not have my two dollar note. I found some coins though, so I returned that lady $1.10. She refused at first but she took it in the end.

At the end of it, I think I am really an awkward and embarrassing girl.
