Time check: 6.02am Woke up early because I am disturbed by the amount of light coming through the window. And curtain. I have not been getting solid sleep ever since last Saturday my body feel so screwed right now but I am enjoying myself in Taipei!

Flight from Changi Airport to Taoyuan Airport was so smooth! Not much turbulence; totally worthed my $128 heh I bought the promo ticket at only $68, excluding the tax and all. However we forgot to call the service center regarding checking in of luggage so Felicia and I ended up paying an additional fee of $40 0.0!! First setback of the trip and it hurt a little because I know we were paying too much for something when we could had it done with half of the price. It's a good lesson there.

Flight was less than 5 hours but we were so hungry even before reaching Taoyuan. Know why? We had Mac breakfast at the Budget Terminal in SIN and the portion was so small. The bread size was almost equivalent to the size of my first. How to be full this way?! Was it because we were in the budget building even Macdonalds is budget? /Judging you.

Anyway, we took the Freego bus from the airport to the hostel while eating 饭团 and I caught some sleep in the bus. The bus seats were better than Tiger's hehe Then the bus driver just told us to get off the bus somewhere in Xi Men Ding and we were lost. Thank god we did not take too long to find the hostel and we got our room~ We arrived at TPE at about 1.30pm but we arrived at the hostel only at about 5pm. Unpack a little bit and left for our dinner at Shinyeh Japanese Buffet~

It costs 1100NT for each of us but it was worth it! The chefs were not stingy with the sashimi when we asked if we could have more each time we return hehe Same goes to the roasted beef! There was a lot of varieties, even the drink and desert session.

My favourite was the matcha pudding &; something with sesame!

28th

Found 阿宗面线 accidentally while looking for a breakfast place in Ximending hehe It was still early then so there no queue and plenty of seats was available for us. After that we hunt for a place to do our hair. Also met Bern who was also in Taiwan for a short chat ^^

While deciding what color I would want to do for my hair I totally forgot that I wanted to cut it! Dyed the brightest colour next to white and now people say I look like 台妹 while some people mistaken me as a westerner. Pretty fun.

Went to 五分铺 and it was boring! Maybe because I had to limit myself so I did not really feel like even looking at it. After a few rounds we went to 饶河夜市. Despite the rain I had so much fun eating all the snacks on the street! ^^

Went back to 西门町 and bought more street food to eat hehehe All the calories lost in the walking and sweating had came backkkk

29th

The Fai sisters recommended us to eat the sandwich sold at the store next to 阿宗. While we were there yesterday I took notice of the shop because consistently there were Taiwanese ordering their food from them. Means it should be good right?

It did not fail us. There was many varieties of sandwiches, burgers, drinks and we ordered three different items and it was good! The next time you go to 西门町 you should go try okay! It is easy to spot especially if you know where 阿宗 is.

After that we went to the zoo. I was in jeans D: Only weird people go to the zoo in jeans in the summer. But at least this time I did not only see the panda's butt. I saw their back!!!!! Maybe if I ever go there again they will finally show their face to me. And I returned to their home after being at the souvenir shop and one of them changed its position. Means I missed the chance to see a panda move! Damn.

Took the cable car in the evening and we got the crystal cable car which is transparent on the bottom! Got a little dizzy but there was nothing much to see at the bottom actually. Instead I spent most of the time laughing secretly at the two guys that took the same car as us because they were afraid hehe

Had dinner on the top of the mountain but sadly there was no wind although its pretty high up. Dinner was good though. I tried duck blood and it was nothing like the block of pig blood I had. In fact, I think I like it a lot although it stink.

Ride down the mountain was even better than going up because of the buildings' light from afar. Too bad none of us had the skill to capture the amazing view. HOWEVER! I learnt what is bulb mode for DSLR! :D

Went back to the hostel and ate cup noodles by myself. Tried to tempt Xianli and Felicia but I failed. It's okay I am going to try again I don't believe I would not succeed. hehe

Shall continue the next time, hopefully with pictures. Internet is really slow right now and I want to sleeeeep! I cannot be bothered to even reread and edit the grammars right now. Praying for another good day with good weather! :D

Hi hi! Less than 24 hours I off on a plane and I am blogging instead of packing. hehe Packing for a trip has never been something I enjoy very much. One of the few moments when I wish those items will grow some leg and walk into the bag obediently.

The week have been really good! Many people are giving their well wishes (Thank you very much!) and some made the effort to free some time from their hectic schedule to meet up :)

Finally I tried Chili's after years of anticipation but sadly it was not up to expectation. It was dinner for us and the place was so noisy the three of us were almost shouting at each other to make ourselves heard haha Dessert at Nana's Green Tea Cafe was so-so too. Deceived by the pictures! At least the taste was not toooo bad. We tried very hard to take picture of our cake and drink but we ended up taking the tissue paper because it look best. But I enjoyed the company so much it just made up for everything. ^^

The next day was a meetup with whoever that was available from CJT at the moment. Lunch at Billy Bombers with chim, jasmine and mingmin! Their cheese fries and milkshake were as awesome as always!! I was quite surprise with the amount of cheese served with fries. See, that is how cheese fries suppose to look yet I am surprise. Restaurants please stop being stingy D:

Chim bought small bags for us all and when we ask her to choose the design for us, she gave me Big Bird. I NEED EXPLANATIONS?!

After chim left, ahkim came and we caught The Expandables 2. My last movie before that was.. Avengers?! Bloody scenes looked fake but it was filled with actions so it's forgivable hehehe

After the last training session before flying off I met up with a few of the Jurong girls at the new Hong Kong Restaurant in Jurong Point. Had been wanting to try it because I want to eat 流沙包 (<- addicted to it) BUT THEY DON'T SERVE IT?! Is it not a signature dish of Hong Kong? Never mind. Their main dishes are really good (better than the HK cafe that has many outlet in SG IMO) and the soup taste really spicy! I got chock by it but I almost finish drinking the whole bowl of it hehe

After that we went over to Geraldine's place and a few more others joined us. I think I have played mahjong enough to understand the game but somehow my brain don't function well when it comes to the game. So luck was not on my side and I paid a certain amount of school fees... 开心就好! :D

Right now I am cuddling the doll I had slept with since young until the end of time because I cannot decide to bring it along with me or not?! HAHA this could be the first time I am separated with it for a long long time. And there is a chance that I would not see it anymore since my mum have been wanting to throw the torn and tattered clown away since forever. (,--) But it would be weird to see a grown woman (I look like a kid but I'm not anymoar) with a doll. On the bed. In a Dorm. ???!?!?!?!?!?! hahahah

Just read a few blogs and am very inspired to blog more often! :D I have been blogging ever since secondary school days.. ALMOST A DECADE D: I have always enjoy writing and my blog serve as a place where I keep my memories. However I became really lazy and find that my life is not really that interesting to blog about; I used to blog about where I study at and how I go home hahaha

My point is, I would really like to return to the habit of blogging regularly even if it means that it would only be about how I want to sleep late and wake up early but not being able to do so...

Its a lie hahaha I want to blog about interesting and beautiful events of my life okay.

So the highlight of my life right now is the backpacking trip. To be exact it should be called "a trip away from Singapore as long as possible". heh

The other day Felicia and I went down to the embassy only to realize that they had changed their SOP and we had to fill up the application form online and then go to their office. Meaning we had to return to the place again just for an extension of one month stay.

:o I am lazy.

So the next best thing we could think of doing is to add another destination to our trip. Excitement x2! Stress x2! It's like having a twins!

Right now I am done with the first part of our itinerary (might return to Taiwan after going to destination 2) and lord, I was so stressed over it. The only time I had to do it was after work which is like 11pm and I will read English & Chinese websites, blogs, threads, books to get more information and will then go to sleep at 1am and wake at 9.30am (not sufficient ok) and repeat the whole cycle again.

To actually finish the planning got to be one of the greatest achievements for the year!

Now I need to start researching on destination 2 and pack my bag (all I did was to take the big backpack into my room) and confirm travel insurance (I have very little idea where to get one way travel insurance and if it works if I travel from one foreign country to another) and change money and meet up with people. TT

This news is from June but I only heard of it like now but whatever its so pretty i could die (<- read this sentence in a fast and furious manner because that's how I feel!) Loving the Red Skull Sneaker (top left), Captain America Sneaker (top right) and Wolverine Sneaker (yellow & black pair)!!!! At the first look Wolverine Sneaker did not look appealing to me but when I see the enlarged image, it got me. OMG WANTTTTTTTTT

But now I need to save every penny for my trip. $$ roll to me pleaseeeeeeeeeeee
