Because the city tour bus was fully reserved, I asked the hostel where would be good to visit.
The first place he suggested was Seonamsa. All I knew was that it is a temple. I did not know it was located at the foot of a mountain until I arrived the location in trench coat while every ahjumma and ahjusshi were in hiking attire (what else!). I was not the only one dressed 'inappropriately' though; there is a small percentage of people who dressed up like I did heh
To get to the temple will require a bit of walking but man, it was so gorgeous! Wonderful season to visit mountains! Cool breeze, slight heat, beautiful leaves and there was a stream too ^^ And the temple was amazing too! Forever amazed by how people from the olden days can build all the stuff without the technologies we have now.
Historic toilet. This is still being used by the way.
By the time I was done with the place I was hungry. Snacked on a pack of chocolate pie (I bought a box of it so I can snack as dinner because most of the days I try to eat only one full meal. That is how I am saving!) and an egg given by my hostel mate whom I only said Hi & Good Morning to. I went into the room after they left and saw the egg and 2 oranges by my pillow and handwashed undergarment. SO TOUCHED :`D
Due to time constrain I skipped the second place I was supposed to visit and went straight to the Reed Field which is located close to the hostel.
Too bad it was cloudy when I arrived if not the place would had been a lot prettier with the visible sunset! Took a walk around the Reeds and tried to talk nice pictures while my fingers were freezing. I really need gloves soon.
Got back to the station and bought some bread for dinner because I had no idea what to have. Shared the orange with my new hostel mate and she was very friendly despite language barrier. It was me, her, naver and google translate haha

Moved from Suncheon to Jeonju. Went to the tourist information counter because I could not find the bus stop in Jeonju and she told me that the bus numbers given by my hostel were wrong (?!) and gave me a new set of numbers. So I took the first bus I saw and... I missed my stop because I could not hear it. haha Most city buses have an annoucement board that will show the upcoming destination name but for Jeonju they only play annoucement. Also, the information counter lady told me the ride would take about 40 minutes so I thought the bus will turn back but it never did. As I was looking at my GPS while the bus keeps getting further and further I lost hope and decided to just enjoy the view outside and see how it goes.

Best part was that the bus went up a mountain call Geunamsa and it was beautifuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllll! All the autumn leaves aw Autumn red leaves gives me a lot of feelings~ When we got to the terminal the bus driver seemed shock to see me there haha He blabbered a lot of korean to me and I guess he was trying to say I missed the stop long time ago and stuff. I wished I knew how to say I realized but it is okay because I got to somewhere beautiful.
Anyway, I think Koreans are not really good to trying to explain themselves in body language? Most people, upon knowing I do not understand what they are saying, tend to just speak louder. Not being able to understand does not equal to me not being able to hear you..
But I got a free ride back to the city hehe He told the driver that was about to depart from the place to tell me where to stop and he did not charge me for it tsktsk 赚到! Being at the mountain is not part of my plan but I am glad I was there! If the bus was not leaving immediately I would had went about a little with my big bags. Still, I got to enjoy the scenery again as the bus goes down.
The hostel I am staying in right now is located next to a tourist attraction called Hanok Village. I had no time to visit it today but it looks really beautiful from the outside! Autumn makes everything looks so beautiful. Except the roads. The leaves are falling off the trees right now and the road is full of it ha
